Yep yep found it yesterday clearing Drakkar...glad it was at the tail end of the clearing so I got a ton of bonus, hunter level three, boss bounty and rampage bonus all at once. Not much in the way of drops though...I think I got one gold in that entire run of 3500 norn rep points.

I went down there when I had the 3 bosses quest active, so I just killed the boss and escaped before I got wiped out. XD

Second time I was thinking maybe it'd be different since I didn't have the quest anymore, but nope... same beasts. I wanna know what the alternate spawn is now, though!

I was sort of thinking the bunny was bad news when I saw it, but I was thinking it'd aggro when I got closer and turn out to be a vicious melee fighter with bleeding/crippling, like in Monty Python. Oh well.

For all of you who never bothered to read the "Notorious Foe: Nulfastu, Earthbound" the last sentence writes:

"Survivors who have encountered him claim he took the form of a rabbit to lure them into his trap."

The scariest thing was being attacked by those rabbits. They're vicious!

Anything as cute and cuddly as those bunnies has got to be evil. Ive gotten to the point that I go slowly whenever I see anything that is even remotly "cute". (white moas, bears, wintersday snowmen etc...), you never know when they will be turned bad. Even so...i love the evil bunny pit.

That is a wonderful place.

I remember going down there and getting whiped out.

I've been there several times and it is a great experience to travel there.

Remember, they are not bunnies, they are evil creaturs mascarading as bunnies.

The first I heard about this was on Guild Chat when someone said "OMG do not follow the rabbit!!" - This was followed by random Guildies finding them and saying nothing more than "Don't follow the rabbit!!". It became a bit of a standing joke in Guild Chat for a while - someone yells "aaarrrggghhh I've been pwnd" or "noooooo Im dead" and others will reply "you followed the rabbit hahaha"

Just so you know (in case you don't), the easiest way to clear this cave is to send ONE hero inside to the center to trigger the spawn, then fight your way down to the boss. You can leave the hero or bring him back up. Splinter-Barrage rangers work well, as well as AoE.

I've gotten 2k + points from this cave in 1 trip with these bonuses.
Norn Hunting Party Rank 4
Berserker (double points for 60 secs, restarts after you kill 1 enemy)
Boss Bounty
Time Attack

My 1st experience was a bit, ahh, disconcerting. Sent the hero down to trigger the spawn, flagged her all the way to the bottom of the path and still no spawn. So, my 1st bright idea, me and my H&h's go down to the bottom of the path. (BAD MOVE) Moved my hero to almost the tree and BOOM, massive MOB!!!!! Wiped in 30 seconds. Grrrrr!!!

Res'ed and went back. Flagged at the top of the path and started pulling them 2-3 at a time. No problem from there on.

Still have nightmares about that mob.

Now my mission mantra is, "Kill da wabbit!!"
